The double path project

2006

The installation was created on the idea of phenomenal differences. Different paradoxes where created to dredge and discuss the idea of precise expectation, and the reality of things around us.

The imagined idea of the turtle movement was used as an example, by using a picture of the tortoise in a light box and creating the physical phenomenon only throughout our acquainted idea of its movement. The paradox was created by using a water can hanging from the roof, releasing drops of water down to the external garden, but almost invisible for the spectators which were considering the piece motionless.

Media: Light box, photograph, water can, water, garden hose.
